This is off to a great start. I love the pixel art and sound design. It was also cool I could submit my high score (leader board didn't seem broken from my end but what do I know lol). Some suggestions:
no penalty for wrong keystrokes makes so that this is more training keyflailing/"hackertyping" than it is real typing, I'm not necessarily complaining, my wpm is insane
it feels weird that 'hallucination' kills exactly as many cultists as 'boo' (1) and 'bat' kills exactly as many cultists as 'serial killer'. I'm not sure how random the word list is or more precisely how the word list is randomized, but depending on that it might feel a little unfair too
I thought on my first play through I'd spotted one or two misspellings in the target words but I couldn't find them on a subsequent play through
Oh, so I was protecting the lamb? I thought I WAS the lamb. I was going to comment that it's the most kills I've ever wracked up in a game playing as a sheep OR by typing on a keyboard, let alone both!
